Data Persistence and Optimization

When you execute a policy, you must store the policy execution results. The policy execution results help you to analyze the health of the policy. This page provides you the setting to enable retention of policy execution results.

To enable data retention for policy execution

  1. Click the Settings icon from the left pane.
  2. Click Data Persistence and Optimization.
  3. Select the Data persistence configuration for policy executions .

Data Persistence EnabledThe policy execution results will not be saved if the flag is turned off.
Data Violation Download EnabledData violations results will not be downloadable if the flag is turned off.
Auto Enable Limiting the Sourced ColumnsWhen this option is enabled, only the columns on which DQ rules are defined are loaded into the data frame during policy execution; otherwise, all columns are loaded.
  1. Click Save Changes.
  2. A dialog box appears asking you to confirm the new settings. Click Confirm.

On the right side of these options, there are buttons for Save Changes and Cancel for submitting or disregarding changes made to the settings.

Each option also has a Reset to default link below the toggle switches, suggesting that users can reset each setting individually to its default state.
