Key Highlights
- JDK-17 Certification: The existing JDK 11 certification continues, and in addition, the ODP stack is now certified for JDK 17, offering enhanced performance and access to newer features while aligning with the latest Java standards.
- Ambari v3.0.0.0-1 now supports running the ODP stack with an alternative JDK version, allowing deployments to use either JDK 11 or JDK 17 for the stack. However, Ambari itself requires JDK 17 at runtime.
- Upgraded Components: This release includes upgrades of key components across the data stack, delivering enhanced performance, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements.
- Pinot upgraded from 1.3.0 ➝ 1.4.0
