Master Upgrade to ODP 3.2.3.5-2

This document provides seamless upgrade guidance for Ambari-2.7.8.4-2 and the ODP 3.2.3.x stack to ODP-3.2.3.5-2, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.

Upgrade Paths

You can upgrade to Ambari-2.7.8.4-2 and ODP-3.2.3.5-2 from the below supported Ambari and ODP versions directly. This has been fully validated and supported for both Rolling and Express upgrades.

Prerequisites

Ensure the following prerequisite is met to upgrade to the latest Ambari.

Before upgrading Ambari, it is essential to remove all custom management packs (mpacks) from the system. Keeping them during the upgrade process can lead to stack-related issues, as they are not compatible with our designated stack configuration.
