ODP Stack Upgrade

The ODP Stack Upgrade process upgrades an existing ODP deployment to the target ODP version using Ambari.

The process includes validating the cluster before the upgrade, registering the target ODP version, installing the required packages, upgrading supported Management Packs (Mpacks), and completing the ODP stack upgrade.

The upgrade workflow includes the following stages:

• Pre-Upgrade Steps

• Register and Add VDF File

• Install ODP Packages

• Upgrade Options: Rolling and Express

  • Rolling Upgrade

  • Express Upgrade

• Upgrade Mpacks

• Resume the Upgrade
