Acceldata ODP 3.3.6.2-104 Hotfix Release Notes

This latest version of the Acceldata Open Source Data Platform introduces enhancements and component upgrades designed to improve your data platform experience further.

This release is a RHEL8-certified hotfix, built on top of ODP-3.3.6.2-103.

Key Highlights

• Ozone v2.1.0: This release introduces support for Apache Ozone version 2.1.0 on ODP, addressing storage-related challenges while improving overall platform reliability and performance.

  • Ozone 2.1.0 includes enhancements in scalability, metadata management, and object store performance, making it well-suited for large-scale data workloads and cloud-native environments.
  • The upgraded Ozone component has been fully integrated and validated within the ODP stack and is certified with JDK 11 to ensure compatibility and stable operation. With this release, clusters support either Ozone1 or Ozone2 installations at a given time. Running both versions concurrently within the same cluster is not supported.

• Non-HA Ozone Installation: This release also adds support for non-high availability (non-HA) Ozone deployments through the updated Ozone2 mpack. Non-HA deployment support is available only for fresh installations and provides additional flexibility for environments that do not require HA configurations.
