This alert gets triggered when a NiFi node gets disconnected from the NiFi cluster.

It is important to note that this is different from the Endpoint check, as the NiFi process might still be up and running, however, it might have stopped sending heartbeats to the other nodes, marking it as disconnected. This relies on the nifi_cluster_connection_status_connected metric that is sent by the newly introduced nifi_agent.

NiFi_Processer_Stale_Alert

NiFi maintains process versions in the NiFi Registry (for example, V1, V2, and so on). When a process is updated in the registry, some users might still be running an older version.

Predefined Alerts

Stock alerts and custom alerts are limited to one query condition. Hence, to resolve the issue of complex query conditions, Pulse provides a built-in library of predefined alerts. Each alert is defined by an alert definition, which specifies the alert type, and monitors periodically in a defined execution Interval and thresholds. Predefined alerts are provided as a stock alert to the user.

Note

The user can modify the parameters, but not the function of the Predefined alerts.

  • DSQuotaUsageThreshold: Define the Disk Space quota usage threshold as a percentage value.

  • Operator: Specify the logical condition to evaluate thresholds — "OR" or "AND".

These parameters allow fine-grained monitoring and alerting based on quota utilization levels.
