Prepare Mpacks for the Upgrade Planner

Before using the Upgrade Planner, run the setup script to include the required mpacks in the planner.

Prerequisites

Ensure that Git is installed and that you have access to the acceldata-io/ce-utils repository.

Include Mpacks

To include mpacks in the Upgrade Planner:

1. Create a directory for the ce-utils repository:

mkdir /root/mpacks

2. Go to the newly created directory:

cd /root/mpacks

3. Clone the ce-utils repository:

git clone https://github.com/acceldata-io/ce-utils.git

4. Go to the cloned repository:

cd ce-utils

5. Go to the directory that contains the mpack setup script:

cd odp-upgrade-to-3_2_3_701_2/upgrade_files_323701

6. Run the setup script:

bash ./setup_mpacks_upgrade_planner.sh

7. Restart the Ambari Server

ambari-server restart

The script adds the required mpacks for use with the Upgrade Planner.
