Action Playbooks

Action feature is part of automation capabilities provided by Pulse to enhance and manage the unnecessary system or service outages, helps in decreasing the overhead of managing administration tasks. With Action team gets complete view and history of all executions and an option to integrate your own playbooks/scripts with Pulse. More information about Action plugin is available in Features section.

Prerequisites to Integrate Action (ad-director)

  1. Requires private ssh-key, by default it uses private key provided during agent deployment.

  2. Add/Delete user key from Pulse UI.


Steps to Deploy Existing Playbooks

  1. Online Installation - Run below command to deploy playbooks from Acceldata repository

accelo login docker accelo deploy playbooks

  1. Offline Installation - Untar the ad-playbook.tar file on the directory ACCELO_HOME/work/cluster_name/director/playbooks

  2. Restart ad-director service using following command

accelo restart ad-director
