Important

To use the latest Pulse 4.1.71 version, you must upgrade your Docker version to 20.10.x or higher and perform the required migration steps. For more information, see Upgrade to Version 4.1.71.

This section consists of new features and enhancements introduced in this release.

  • YARN Optimizer Resource Fallback Enhancement: YARN Optimizer now supports configurable fallback memory and vCore values when yarn-site.xml, which contains YARN resource configuration settings, cannot be read during an extended NATS outage. This replaces the previous hardcoded values of 8192 MB and 4 vCores.

This section consists of key issues that have been fixed in this release.

  • Fixed an issue where YARN Optimizer restored incorrect NodeManager resource values under certain conditions. YARN Optimizer now restores the configured resource values correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where certain YARN application resource usage metrics were missing due to interruptions in data collection. Improved the reliability of YARN application metrics collection.
