Depending on your cluster size and workload, you can deploy Pulse services on a single node or distribute them across multiple nodes. For details on choosing the right setup, see Plan Pulse Server Nodes.

To get started, choose one of the following deployment options:

In the Pulse Kubernetes-Based installation, install Pulse Agents (Hydra) on Hadoop cluster nodes. Deploy Pulse Core and Add-on services on dedicated namespaces within the Kubernetes cluster. Deploy Pulse databases on VMs or bare-metal servers.

For detailed steps on installing Pulse on Kubernetes using APIs, see Install Pulse on Kubernetes (Kubernetes-Based).

You can use the Admin UI to configure clusters, deploy core and add-on services, and manage configuration files, upload certificates and configuration files, etc. For more information, see Pulse Admin UI.
