Use this page to enable, disable, and manage the Optimizer admission webhook settings for automated node optimization from the Pulse UI.
Steps
- In the Pulse UI, go to Dashboard K8s.
- Select Saving Potential > Automated Node Optimization.
- Select Configure Webhook.
The Configure Optimizer Webhook panel opens.
From here, you can:
- Enable or disable mutation: This actually enables or disables the optimizer. This allows the new incoming pods to use the extended resources rather than relying on the classic cpu/memory requests.
- Enable or disable the optimization pod selector: This gives the user power to create a selector, and all the pods that follow this selector rule will be selected to use the extended resources. The rest of them will be untouched.
- Select Save Configuration.
