Alerts Dashboard

The Alert Dashboard Overview tab offers a high-level dashboard of alert trends and statistics, summarizing where and when alerts occur to quickly assess data environment health.

Summary Metrics

The top of the page displays two key performance indicators (KPIs) under the

Summary by Origin section:

  • Active/Total Alerts: Displays active vs. total alerts in the selected period.
  • Active/Total Policy: Shows the number of currently active monitoring policies versus the total number of policies configured.

Alert Trend Visualizations

The main body of the page consists of three charts that visualize alert data from different perspectives. Each chart can be filtered by the alert's Origin (e.g., Pipeline, Reliability) using the dropdown menu.

  • Alerts raised overtime by Severity: This stacked area chart shows the volume of alerts generated over time, broken down by their severity level (Critical, High, Medium, Low). Use this chart to identify spikes in high-severity alerts.
  • Alerts raised overtime by Status: This chart displays the trend of alert statuses over time, showing how many alerts are Open, Resolved, and In Progress. It helps you track your team's efficiency in responding to and resolving issues.
  • Alerts raised overtime by Datasource: This horizontal bar chart identifies which data sources are generating the most alerts. Each bar is segmented by severity, helping you pinpoint which data sources have the most critical issues.

After reviewing the trends on the dashboard, you can dive into specific issues on Alert Lists.
