Trino Gateway Known Issues

UI Access Restriction

In Trino Gateway 15:

• Only users with the ADMIN privilege can log in to the UI.

• This privilege applies only to Trino Gateway UI access.

• It does not grant administrator access to Trino clusters.

This limitation is expected to be resolved in a future ODP release.

Authentication Pattern Limitation

The following configuration values currently require manual setup:

• Admin Authentication Pattern

• API Authentication Pattern

• User Authentication Pattern

This behavior is expected to be automated in a future release.

High Availability Limitation

Trino Gateway does not automatically provision backup Trino clusters.

To achieve failover capability:

• Deploy an additional Trino cluster.

• Configure routing and failover manually.
