Key Highlights

New Platform Integrations

• Apache SeaTunnel 2.3.13: Natively integrated for unified batch, streaming, and CDC data synchronization across diverse sources. For details, see SeaTunnel.
• Apache Airflow 3.2.2: With new React UI and API server, native DAG versioning, asset-aware scheduling. Both Airflow (2.8.3) and Airflow3 (3.2.2) is included in this release

Component Upgrades

• Apache Pinot (1.4.0 -> 1.5.1): Improved query performance and flexibility through Multi-stage Query Engine enhancements, better joins and aggregations, optimized upsert/deduplication, advanced indexing
• MLflow (3.1.0 -> 3.16.0): Includes multiple bugfixes, MLflow auth and RBAC support

Extended Governance & Security

• Ranger Plugin Support for NiFi and NiFi 2 Registry: Centralized Apache Ranger authorization and governance for NiFi 2, an enterprise security capability not yet available in upstream Apache NiFi 2.x. For details, seeRanger Enablement.

• MLflow Native Authentication: MLflow’s built-in authentication and RBAC is now supported and managed through Ambari.

Migration & Utilities

• Spark 2 to Spark 3 Migration Utility: A new utility that helps move existing workloads from Spark 2 to Spark 3. For details, see Migrate Spark 2 Workloads to Spark 3.

Platform Support

• RHEL 10 Support: OS support is extended to RHEL 10, which runs on Python 3.12 and JDK 17 only.

CVE Addressed

• CVE Fixes: In this release, 3,261 CVEs are fixed. For details, see Fixed CVEs.

Deprecation / Removal

• OZONE 1.x support has been removed in 3.3.6.6. The 3.3.6.5-1 notes announced this removal. 3.3.6.6 supports improved OZONE service mpack to run Apache Ozone 2.1.0.
