LLAP Daemons

The LLAP Daemons page displays the following charts of the processes running in the background for a selected node.

The default time range is Last 24 hrs. To view statistics from a custom date range, click the icon and select a time frame and timezone of your choice.

JVM Usage Chart

The JVM Usage chart displays the amount of JVM memory used by a broker based on the following metrics.

  • Max Heap: The maximum amount of heap memory allocated by the JVM.
  • Committed Non Heap: The amount of allocated memory other than the heap memory in the JVM.
  • Heap Used: The amount of heap memory used by the JVM.
  • Non Heap Memory: The amount of memory used other than the heap memory in the JVM.

Other Charts

ChartDescription
CPU UsageThe amount of CPU utilized by the node.
Memory UsageThe amount of memory utilized by the node.
I/O UsageThe number of input bytes read and the number of output bytes written to a node. This chart displays the data per second for Read iops and Write iops.
I/O TimeThe time utilized by input/output operations. This chart displays Read Time and Write Time (in ms) of I/O operations in a node.

LLAP Nodes

The LLAP Nodes list is located in the left of the page. This displays the list of available nodes and their respective IP addresses, in the cluster.

To see LLAP Daemons metrics on a node, click the node from the list. The associated metrics are displayed in the right.

To search a node from the list, click the search icon and type the name of the node and press the Enter key.

The icons next to nodes on the LLAP nodes page indicate the following application states:

  • The Positive sign icon: This indicates that the applications are Finished, Succeeded, or Complete.

  • The Negative sign icon: This indicates that the applications are Failed, Killed, AppException, YarnException, or Exception.

  • The Neutral sign icon (Green): This indicates that the applications are Running.

  • The other sign icon: This indicates that the applications are in Started, Complied, New, New Savings, Submitted, or Accepted state.
