Search and Filter YARN Applications

Pulse enables you to search and filter YARN applications in big data systems to refine and narrow down your analysis.

Steps

• In the Pulse UI, select YARN from the left navigation bar > Application Explorer.
• On the Application Explorer page, go to the Search bar.
• Select a search parameter from the drop-down list.
• Choose an operator, enter a value, and press Enter.
• Results matching the query appear within the selected time range.

Best Practices

• Use exact values for accuracy.
• For String Data type fields, you can use the =~ operator. This operator allows you to search strings by entering a partial string.
• Combine multiple search parameters to refine results.
