Search Acceldata Docs in Cursor Using the MCP Server

Acceldata Documentation exposes a built-in MCP server so Cursor's AI can search and read your published docs from the editor. Read-only tools need no authentication. There's a separate server per product.

Configure (~/.cursor/mcp.json)

In Cursor: Settings → Cursor Settings → Tools → New MCP Server, then add one entry per product you want:

{
"mcpServers": {
"Acceldata ADOC Docs": { "url": "https://docs.acceldata.io/mcp" },
"Acceldata Pulse Docs": { "url":"https://docs.acceldata.io/pulse/mcp" },
"Acceldata ODP Docs": { "url": "https://docs.acceldata.io/odp/mcp" }
}
}

Save the file; Cursor lists the Acceldata tools under Settings → Tools. No OAuth/token needed for read-only.

Use It

Toggle the AI pane (⌘ + I / Ctrl + I) and ask, e.g. "Search the Pulse docs: how do I create an alert?" Cursor calls the tools and answers in the panel, citing source pages.

Tools

  • search_published_docs, get_published_doc, get_page_metadata, list_products / tabs / sections / pages (all read-only).
