Alerts Tab
The Alerts tab is a pre-built analytical dashboard that provides visibility into alert activity across your environment over a configurable time period. Use it to identify alert volume trends, understand which data sources are generating the most alerts, and track how alerts are being resolved.
The time period for all charts on this tab is configurable using the date range control in the top-right corner. Charts that show Origin can be filtered by the alert origin using the Origin dropdown on each chart.
Summary by Origin
A header row showing two key alert metrics for the selected period:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Active / Total Alerts | The number of currently active alerts versus the total number of alerts raised in the selected period. |
| Active / Total Policy | The number of policies with active alerts versus the total number of policies in your environment. |
Alerts by Severity (Stats)
A summary of alert counts broken down by severity level: Critical, High, Medium, and Low. Use this view to understand the severity distribution of alerts in the selected period at a glance.
Alerts Raised Over Time by Severity
A bar chart showing alert volume over time, with each bar broken down by severity: Critical (dark red), High (orange-red), Medium (amber), and Low (yellow). Filter by Origin using the dropdown on the chart to scope the view to alerts from a specific origin.
Alerts Raised Over Time by Status
A bar chart showing alert volume over time, with each bar broken down by status: Open, Dismiss, Resolved, In Progress, and Acknowledge. Filter by Origin using the dropdown on the chart. Use this chart to track whether alerts are being acknowledged and resolved over time.
Alerts Raised Over Time by Datasource
A horizontal bar chart listing data sources on the vertical axis and alert count on the horizontal axis. Each bar is broken down by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low). Filter by Origin using the dropdown on the chart. Use this chart to identify which data sources are the highest contributors to alert volume.
