Trino Known Limitations

This page lists the known limitations observed during the Pinot setup.

• Ranger Integration: Not supported for Trino on ODP 3.2.3, only available with JDK 11 on ODP 3.3.6.1-1
• Knox Integration : Manually supported for Trino on ODP 3.2.3, available in stack with JDK 11 in ODP 3.3.6.1-1.
• Kerberos and LDAP: Cannot be enabled simultaneously due to conflicting http-server.authentication.type configuration property.
• Internal SSL Communication: Significant performance degradation, up to 90% slower. Not recommended for production.
• Hive Acid Tables are not supported.
