This page describes how to upload certificates and configuration files in the Pulse Admin UI when Kerberos, LDAP, or other authentication and security integrations are enabled after completing cluster configuration.
Use the Uploads tab in the Admin UI to upload the required certificates and configuration files. These files enable Pulse to:
- Authenticate securely with the cluster
- Establish encrypted communication with external systems and services
Proper certificate uploads ensure secure data exchange and trusted communication between Pulse components and integrated platforms.
Open the Uploads Tab
- In the Admin UI, go to Home.
- Click the name of the configured cluster you want to manage.
- On the Cluster Details page, click the Uploads tab.

Upload Certificates
Upload only the files relevant to your setup. For example, if Kerberos or LDAP is not enabled, you can skip those sections.
Upload Kerberos Configuration
If your cluster is Kerberized, upload the Kerberos configuration files (krb5.conf and keytabs).
- These files allow Pulse to authenticate with Kerberos-enabled services.
- Drag and drop the files into the Kerberos Configuration section or click Choose File to browse.
Upload CA Certificate
If HTTPS/TLS is enabled in your environment, upload the CA certificate.
- This ensures Pulse can trust and securely connect to cluster components over HTTPS.
- Drag and drop the certificate or use Choose File under the CA Certificate section.
Upload LDAP Certificate
If your environment uses LDAP or LDAPS authentication, upload the LDAP certificate.
- This enables Pulse to authenticate securely with the directory service.
- Drag and drop the file or click Choose File under LDAP Certificate.
Upload Elastic Certificate
If ElasticSearch is TLS-enabled, upload the Elastic certificate.
- This allows Pulse to securely read and write log and metric data to ElasticSearch.
- Drag and drop or click Choose File under Elastic Certificate.
Apply the Changes
After uploading all required files, click Reconfigure to apply the changes.
