Install Agents Using Accelo Command (with SSH access)

This page describes installing Pulse Hydra Agent if you have SSH access to the cluster nodes.

Note

For Pulse 4.0.5 or later, Python 3.8 or higher is required on Hadoop nodes.

Before you run accelo deploy hydra, ensure that Python 3.8 is installed on all Hadoop nodes and update the [INLINE_CODE]ansible_python_interpreter[/INLINE_CODE] path in the [INLINE_CODE]hydra_hosts.yml[/INLINE_CODE] file accordingly.

Deploy the Pulse Hydra agent by executing the following steps.

  • Execute the following deploy command, here -f argument defines a parallel ssh session to deploy agents
accelo deploy hydra -f 5
  • Type y when the Have you run 'accelo configure agents' ?[y/n] question is displayed.
  • Press the enter key.
