Add the MPACK Upgrade Planner

Complete the following steps on the Ambari Server host to configure the MPACK Upgrade Planner.

1. Navigate to the MPACK upgrade directory:

cd odp-upgrade-to-3_4_3_0/upgrade_files_343

2. Run the MPACK Upgrade Planner setup script:

bash ./setup_mpacks_upgrade_planner.sh

[INFO] Copying bundled upgrade pack XMLs onto the Ambari Server
[INFO] AMBARI_STACKS=/var/lib/ambari-server/resources/stacks/ODP

..
..

[INFO] Backups (if any): ./mpacks-upgrade-planner-backup

[INFO] Restart Ambari Server so the planner reloads these packs:
  ambari-server restart

[INFO] Create a new Express or Rolling upgrade.
A paused plan keeps its old groups.

3. Restart the Ambari Server to load the updated upgrade packs:

ambari-server restart
