View the execution history of action plans to monitor execution status, review workflow progress, and troubleshoot failures.
The Executions page provides detailed information about every action plan execution, including execution status, retry attempts, execution duration, and workflow progress.
Navigation
- In the xObserve UI, navigate to Actions > Executions.
- The Action Executions page displays the execution history for all action plans.
Search and Filter
Use the available filters to locate specific executions.
You can filter executions based on:
- Source: Displays executions from a specific source such as Alert or Action.
- Status: Displays executions based on their current execution status.
You can also search for executions by entering an action plan name in the Search executions by name field.
Click Refresh to retrieve the latest execution information.
Execution Details
The execution table displays information about each action plan execution.
General Information
Name: Displays the name of the executed action plan.
Note: Action executions that terminate queries are highlighted in red in the Name column.
Scheduled: Indicates whether the execution was triggered automatically by a schedule.
- True: The action was executed based on a configured schedule.
- False: The action was executed manually.
Status: Displays the current execution status, such as Succeeded, Failed, Running, or Cancelled.
Execution Progress
Progress: Displays the status of each workflow step.
- A green indicator represents a successfully completed step.
- A red indicator represents a failed step.
Retry: Displays the number of retry attempts performed due to execution failures or errors.
Execution Timeline
- Start Time: Displays the date and time when the execution started.
- End Time: Displays the date and time when the execution completed.
