Enable xObserve for xStore

Enable xObserve integration on an xStore cluster to collect observability data and stream it to xObserve.

About xStore

XStore is the catalog and metadata layer of xDP. It provides connectivity to multiple storage systems, including:

• HDFS
• Apache Iceberg
• Amazon S3
• S3-compatible object storage

When xObserve integration is enabled, xDP deploys the following observability components on the xStore data plane:

• Actions Agent
• Node Monitor
• Log Collector

Steps

1. In the xDP UI, navigate to Infrastructure.
2. Select xStore.
3. Locate the cluster that you want to monitor and click Edit.
4. Navigate to xObserve Integration.
5. Enable the xObserve Integration toggle.
6. Save the cluster configuration.

The required observability components are deployed automatically and configured to send telemetry data to xObserve on the linked xCentral cluster.

Verify the Configuration

1. Verify that the observability components are successfully deployed on the xStore cluster.
2. Open the xObserve UI.
3. Confirm that xStore metrics, logs, and health information are being collected and displayed.
