Search and Filter YARN Applications

Pulse enables you to search and filter YARN applications in big data systems to refine and narrow down your analysis.

Steps

1. In the Pulse UI, select YARN from the left navigation bar > Application Explorer.
2. On the Application Explorer page, go to the Search bar.
3. Select a search parameter from the drop-down list.
4. Choose an operator, enter a value, and press Enter.
5. Results matching the query appear within the selected time range.

Best Practices

• Use exact values for accuracy.
• For String Data type fields, you can use the =~ operator. This operator allows you to search strings by entering a partial string.
• Combine multiple search parameters to refine results.
